Food Photo Cards Local Records Share Ready

What kind of app it is

Bite is made for food photos you want to keep with context. It works without login, and records are stored on the device.

What it does
  • Create a card from camera or photo library.
  • Add price, restaurant name, menu/message, and taste notes.
  • Save or share through the iOS share sheet.
Places and location
  • Nearby restaurant candidates can be inferred from photo location or current location.
  • Place lookup primarily uses Google Places API through Doui Lab's server.
  • Local cache can reuse candidates for nearby places.
Display controls
  • Region outline, address, and watermark display can be toggled.
  • Region outlines are based on prefectures, states, countries, or similar administrative areas.
  • Ad-free users can hide the watermark.
Availability
  • Bite is now available on the App Store.
  • In-app purchases support Light Bite and Big Bite credit packs.
  • The support page and privacy policy are available publicly.

How it works

The flow is short: choose a photo, edit the card, then share it.

01 Choose a photo

Take a food photo or choose one from the library. Location data can help show nearby places and regional context.

02 Edit the card

Edit restaurant name, price, menu/message, and taste notes. Cards can also be shared without a restaurant name.

03 Save or share

Cards can be saved or shared from the iOS share sheet. Saved records can be reopened and edited again.
